AIR FLOW METER REPLACEMENT SERVICE
The mass air flow meter (also called an MAF Sensor) measures the amount of air that enters the engine and feeds this information to a computer that uses this information to determine the amount of fuel to be injected into the engine.
When this sensor fails, it causes the ratio of oxygen to fuel in the engine to be incorrect. This can cause your Land Rover or Jaguar to call up a check engine light, which will prevent your vehicle from passing the smog test in California. It can also cause performance problems, including stalling. Neither Land Rover nor Jaguar gives recommendations for replacement intervals of this part, but its failure is quite common.
Our normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00pm. You can contact us during these hours to schedule an appointment for service of your Land Rover or Jaguar at (310) 725-0075.
